Michael has spent time in various roles over his career in sport and chiropractic.
After completing his Master of Science degree in exercise and sport science at Pennsylvania State University he took up a position at the University of Canterbury in charge of the Sports science Laboratory working with Athletes from many sports.
He also was involved in the strength and conditioning of many athletes. He moved on to teach Conditioning and Rehabilitation at tertiary level while continuing to play an active role in athlete conditioning and rehabilitation.
After returning to study and completing his Chiropractic Degree Michael continued to work with athletes at all levels with a more Chiropractic based approach.
Michael Completed his Diplomate in Applied Kinesiology which further enhanced his skills in caring for the injured athlete and also the area of athlete performance. Michael is a Teaching Diplomate of the international Board of Applied kinesiology and is the current President of the International Board of Applied Kinesiology.
He has presented at International AK Conferences predominantly looking at the myofascial system its influence on motor performance and also the diaphragms influence on pelvic and spinal torsion.
Michael has developed a unique approach to the integration of the myofascial into assessing neuromuscular performance and brings what he has learned throughout his career to this Seminar
